Membership

Membership is by invitation only - offered to directors and senior heads of function. We have had several CEOs, Logistics and Supply Chain Directors, Operations Directors and Finance Directors in LDC over recent years.

Our intention is to maintain a strong balance towards practioners over service providers. Out target is 80% practioners from industry and public services, with 20%  from areas such as consulting, software and third party logistics.

Our Meetings take place 4 times a year at carefully selected prestige venues. We ask our guest speakers to prepare 45 minutes of presentation oon the specific topic. In all cases over the last 10+ years this always turns into a debate.

We curently offer two daytime meetings in the Spring and Summer and two early evening meetings in central London for the Autumn and Winter meetings.

How we run the LDC
Every year in September ALL members are invited to the annual planning meeting. We review how the current year programme has been accepted and work out an appropriate theme for the next year together with the associated topics.
We also take the opportunity to review our venue and timings of each event to ensure maximum opportunity for members to attend.
Each annual programme is published at the end of the previous year
